Your guide to the Femme process, from the very first audit to launch day and beyond.

From the editor

A letter from Ellie.

Hiring someone to build your website should feel exciting, never uncertain. So every part of working with Femme has been designed to be clear, considered and beautifully organised, from your first audit to the day your website goes live.

You will always know what is happening, what comes next and exactly where your project is up to. Your proposal is written down and fixed. Your content lives in one place. Your client portal is open whenever you want to check in.

Turn the page and I’ll show you exactly how it works.

01The Audit

Start with the truth.

Before a single page is designed, we look closely at the website you have now.

You receive an honest, beautifully presented report on what’s working, what’s quietly costing you customers and exactly what to change first. Speed, Google, mobile and design, all in plain English.

You receive
A full audit report that’s yours to keep, whether we work together or not.
We ask
Your web address. That’s all.
02Femme Start

Tell us everything.

A short, guided brief about your business, your goals and what your website needs to do.

It takes about ten minutes and saves as you go. Then we talk it all through together on Zoom, so your proposal is accurate from the very first draft and there are no surprises later.

You receive
A relaxed discovery chat, focused entirely on you.
We ask
Ten minutes and your honest answers.
Ellie, founder of Femme Creative

It’s not about looking good. It’s about being unforgettable.

From every Femme proposal
03The Proposal

Everything, in writing.

Your proposal sets out exactly what we’ll create, how it will be built and what it costs.

Clear scope, clear pricing and nothing hidden in the fine print. Choose the package that suits you, accept online and your place is held.

You receive
A fixed scope, so you know exactly what you’re getting.
We ask
Your approval and a 50% deposit to begin.
04The Blueprint

Your website, mapped out.

Your words, photos, brand files and logins, gathered in one beautiful place.

Once your Femme Blueprint is complete, you choose your Monday start date. We begin just two new websites each week, so every project has our full attention.

Your client portal

From here on you have your own login. See exactly where your project is up to and send us a note any time, without digging through emails.
